In 2004 I started researching weight loss surgery. At this time I was diabetic .  My feet where so bad that I had the fear that I may loose my ability to walk. I had a diabetic nurse  assigned to me and I was at a loss as to what to do . My primary care doctor told me point blank, you either get this weight off or you are going to die. He gave me a name of a doctor , Dr. Neil Hutcher of Common Wealth Surgeons. He said this doctor was a bariatric doctor , and he could introduce me to weight loss surgery . So off I went .

After meeting with the doctor I decided that I would go ahead with my surgery . On May 27^th, 2004 I had RNY Weight Loss Surgery. No regrets. Please know that this was no fluke. I prayed to my  God to direct me and to lead me to the answer. And here I am I survived the surgery ! God is good !

I was able to lose the first 100 pounds in 4 months . I was so dedicated to getting the weight off , I followed all the rules.  At 5 months I was below my doctors goal .

Today I sit here 225 pounds of pure fat gone . I have not forgotten it . I work hard daily to maintain it and I refuse to go back .

Last year I began my plastic surgery journey. I met a wonderful doctor . Mitchell Kreiger. With this decision came more prayer. I had been through a lot , I lost my mother , I had a bad reaction to the Tummy Tuck.. but again , God is good and he lead me to Kreiger. And with the grace of our Living God , I am here to tell my story !!!

This man changed my life . He gave me the body that I have always dreamed of . I am proud to say that I have had butt augmentation with skin flaps, brachioplasty , breast augmentation and anchor cut tummy tuck.   

I am looking to schedule my thighs next year. I want to get in better physcial shape before I do this .

I was affiliated with the Obestiy Help Support Group Leader Team. I completed their training under Dr. Monica Ganzt.

I successully ran a support group in Hopewell Virginia - Lifestarts

I am currently enrolled in the AFPA NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING certification process .

And best of all , I am a survivor , I am a true success story . I have had no bounce back weight and I work at this daily . I work each and every day to inspire others to be the best they can and to go after their weight loss goals .

I am currently working with Kristen Windsor of Glen Burnie Maryland in setting up her Mentorship and support group.

I am also working with a to be announced group in Virginia Beach .

I have been the Co-Director of VA WLS Events hosted with David Becker. These are very succesfull weight loss events and held each year. We are going into our 4th year and ready to announce our upcoming 09 event.

So many would come here and read all of this . What  I want more to get from this is as Jesus loved me , I love all of you. And if I can help one person , if I can direct my life in a way to show his grace and my privalige to live this life. I give back totally to all that come here .  

God has also given me a wonderful Husband , Alan. He has been my leader and my soulmate.  

I have two grown children - Amy and Will . I am also the proud Nanny to Dontae and Anthony .

With out God and WLS ... I would not be here to be there Mother  ...... again .. God is good .. !! All day Long !!
